Laziness Killed My Earnings on My New Medium Page and This is How I Plan to Revive it

In September 2023, I published my first article on Abena Talks Life, and I had high hopes for the page.
Now, it’s sitting there, dead in the water, because I stopped posting due to laziness. I blame myself for this one.
It’s not the “algorithm” or any other lame excuse; it is my fault, and I’m not guilt-tripping myself into boosting my earnings over there. I’m pushing myself because I know I can do better.
The other day, I had a long talk with my son about his lazy attitude towards his schoolwork.
He admits that he can’t be bothered most of the time; he’d prefer to do something else other than history homework.
I asked him why, and he said:
“I’m actually scared of getting it wrong, I don’t want to see bad grades, so I’d rather not do the work.”
So, the number one factor contributing to my son’s lack of effort when it comes to his schoolwork right now is fear.
